An app code audit that tells you what to fix first.
Your app works on your phone but breaks for your users, or a previous team left code nobody wants to touch. I read the code, run the app and write you a report that says what is wrong, why it happens and what each fix costs.
$1,500
Fixed price for one app, credited toward the fix sprint if you hire me for it.
Request an audit- Who it’s for
-
Founders whose app is live and misbehaving: crashes, slow screens, failed payments or bad store reviews. It also suits teams that inherited code from an agency or built fast with AI tools and now need to know what they have.
- What you get
-
A written report in plain language. Each problem comes with its cause, how much it hurts your users, the fix and a fixed price for that fix, ranked by what to do first.
- Timeline
-
The report arrives within 5 working days of getting access to the code and a test build.
- Included
-
- A read of the whole codebase: structure, state, data flow and dependencies
- Your crash and error reports, if you have them
- Performance on real devices: startup time, slow screens and memory
- Security basics: secrets in the code, insecure storage and packages with known vulnerabilities
- Tests and release process: what exists and what is missing
- A ranked fix list with a fixed price for each fix
- Not included
-
- Fixing the problems (that is the fix or finish sprint)
- Penetration testing and compliance audits
- A design or UX review beyond what causes bugs
- Servers and services I can’t get access to
- How to start
-
Send the request form with a link to your app and a few lines on what is going wrong. I reply by email with the access I need and an invoice. No call needed: the audit starts when access and payment arrive.
Bugs I traced to the root cause.
-
Klarna browser extension
eBay gave Klarna a deadline: fix an extension bug or end the partnership. I found the root cause two days before the deadline.
-
ID.me browser extension
I pushed for GitHub Actions that audit, lint and build every pull request before it can merge. Those checks found multiple critical vulnerabilities.
Questions.
What is an app audit?
A review of an app’s code and behaviour by someone who didn’t write it. Mine covers code quality, crashes, performance, security basics and tests, and ends with a ranked list of fixes, each with a fixed price.
How much does an app code audit cost?
$1,500 for one app, fixed. If you hire me for the fixes afterwards, the $1,500 is credited toward that sprint.
Are vibe-coded apps safe?
They can be, but nobody knows until someone checks. Apps built fast with AI tools often skip error handling and tests, and leave secret keys inside the app. The audit checks for exactly those.
Do I need a call first?
No. The request form and email are enough. If something in the report is unclear, we can talk it through then.
What do you need from me?
Read access to the code repository, a test build or a link to the live app and, if you have them, crash reports and store reviews.
